FIELD TECHNIQUE INTERNSHIPS

APPLY BEFORE JUNE 8TH.

Golden-Line

WHO ARE WE:

We are Field Technique. Are we a production company? Kinda. Are we a digital agency? Sometimes. Are we an advertising agency? Fuck no. We are a Content Creation Studio. We partner with brands and agencies to help craft high quality, kick-ass content at breakneck speeds. High quality doesn’t always mean high production value, it means content that works.

Our summer internship program is designed to immerse participants in every aspect of our business. From on-set collaboration to client meetings, interactions are designed to give you real world industry experience while getting your hands dirty. You’re responsibilities are real and you’ll be measured at the same level as the rest of the team. You’ll work hard, learn a ton, hug dogs and leave knowing a bit more than when you arrived.

JUNIOR CONTENT CREATOR

No. of Openings: 1

Work Schedule: Undefined and flexible

Hours per Week: 30-40

Wage/Salary: $11/hr

Employment Start Date: Early Summer

Employment End Date: End of summer (potentially open ended)

Job Description:

The primary role in this internship is to assist in a wide variety of tasks throughout the entire production process (concept to delivery) – as well as helping manage the studio. As a content creation studio, we produce a large number of videos with high production values. In order to do so, we approach filmmaking with a manufacturing-like approach and never stop working to improve our processes. The projects you’d be working on will range from broadcast commercials to internal training videos, and we shoot as much in the field as we do in our studio in NE MPLS.
This is an overall film-making internship with an emphasis on post production, but we also want to hear from you what you’d like to concentrate on: cinematography, directing, writing, editing, design, vfx, etc. Based on where your passion and drive lies, we will dole out your tasks accordingly. You will be asked take a project from ingest to final cut, and to help create concepts for a branded campaign series. We are looking for someone that genuinely loves film-making and has a passion to learn and grow in their field; someone that goes out of their way to learn something new. We are as anxious to teach you as we are to learn from you.

Applicants must be able to commit to a full 10 week program and be able to identify a discipline that aligns with their interest.

Qualifications:

  • Initiative:
    • Be a self-starter, meet deadlines, and manage your time. Be driven, have grit, but know when to ask for help.
  • Your age doesn’t matter, but kinda:
    • Must be in your 3rd year of school or later
    • Driver’s License and vehicle.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Well versed with Adobe Premiere
    • Must know both Mac and PC
    • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects required
  • Nice to have:
    • Davinci Resolve/Fusion a huge plus
    • Ideal candidate has worked on several sets and is familiar with the basics (c stands, cable wrapping, cable types, etc.)
